Our former unions considered us so irrelevant, that they tried to take the benefits we earned
during our years of public service - including stripping us of our earned Medicare benefits and attempting to privatize Medicare for their raises.
Ill-advised labor leaders forgot they passed the Medicare Act in 1965 to give everyone equal access to medical care.
Today, we are fighting back being forced into Medicare Advantage and having benefits taken from us in retirement that our former unions should have protected.
